Elevated Uric Acid

"Uric acid", which used to be a symptom, but now that phrase has become synonymous with a condition known as gout. Just as the close relationship between high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart disease, high uric acid (hyperuricemia is medically known) is the direct cause of gout pain.

It's so ironic that most modern diseases are due to "too high" of certain substances in the body. For example, getting too much sugar or glucose in the blood diabetes. High cholesterol increases the risk of having a stroke. These are all "side effects" of our modern "High Life".

We live in a wonderful world that has a very strong sense of balance, too much of something will trigger a corrective action to restore the equilibrium of the balance to maintain harmony in the universe. Arthritis is another example of life cause and effect, or the law of causality. You are what you eat.

Almost all patients with arthritis have carnivorous diets usually one year before they get their first crisis. The long-term high consumption of foods rich in meat protein will increase the workload of the liver and kidneys. Liver must work harder to convert these excess amino acids for urea and send them to the kidneys for elimination in the urine. That's why you can often smell a strong ammonia (urea) stench in the bathroom in the fitness centers. This is because the majority of bodybuilders take protein powder, which ended as ammonia in the toilet bowl. Waste of money.

The liver is also the place where the purines are broken down into uric acid in the body to be removed by the kidneys. Please note that a large portion of purines in the body produced by the body's cells die and break the chains of DNA. These undesirable in purines should be eliminated to safeguard the welfare of the internal environment of the body.

But the problem is that the work of the decomposition of the amino acid has remained most of the liver and kidneys of waste treatment capacity. Therefore, there is room for much lower acid or uric body eliminate uric acid and increasing, slurry and stuck in your body that ultimately led to high levels of uric acid in blood.
